Welcome

July saw the Strategic Imperatives team continue to form valuable partnerships, onboard exciting new clients, attend some inspirational events, and celebrate our successes in 2024 with a memorable Summer Party.

As we look ahead to what August has in store, we are pleased to have a pipeline of fresh partnership news to share in the coming weeks, as well as some key industry events on the horizon that we are thrilled to be a part of.

We’re pleased to share our Monthly Imperatives August Newsletter below – happy reading and have a great summer ahead!

In July, it was our pleasure to welcome Trooli and OFNL to The Fibre Café!

Trooli and OFNL join a growing number of Altnets and Service Providers turning to The Fibre Café to enable a unified interface into the UK’s FTTx ecosystem.

Together, Trooli and OFNL collectively bring an additional 500,000 premises to The Fibre Café platform.

Wail had this to say:

“We are thrilled to welcome Trooli and OFNL to The Fibre Café and look forward to supporting their wholesale growth as a key partner. By joining the platform, both network owners gain a significant competitive advantage through streamlined onboarding, enhanced automation, and direct access to a rapidly expanding pool of service providers.”

UK businesses lose an average of 2% of revenue to fraud. We’re proud that Elevate has partnered with GoCardless to change this. Our latest integration verifies new customer bank details instantly, preventing fraud and offering peace of mind.

Elevate’s billing system combined with GoCardless’ Success+ feature, help manage and reduce payment failures, recovering up to 70% of declined payments. At Strategic Imperatives, we believe businesses have the right to operate seamlessly and with confidence, secure in their ability to take payments successfully – it’s the reason Elevate exists!

The speed and convenience of GoCardless’ instant bank payments make them a great fit for us. The ability to collect one-off payments directly from your customers’ bank account in the blink of an eye is a game changer; a win-win for both parties.

At Strategic Imperatives we consider compliance to be the cornerstone of safe and responsible operations, not just for the sake of our customers but for our partners and those within our organisation, too.

That’s why, in July, Strategic Imperatives was re-certified for ISO27001, upgrading to ISO27001:2022 from our previous ISO27001:2013. This upgrade will help future monitoring of our compliance and complement other ISO management frameworks.

Thanks to the whole team for ensuring our operations continue to meet our high standards in remaining compliant, robust, and future-proof.

Connected Britain is fast approaching!

The events keep on coming this summer! A reminder that the Strategic Imperatives team will be out in full force in the capital from 11th-12th of September as Gold Sponsors at this year’s Connected Britain event at the ExCeL.

As always, we’d love to connect with you on the ground – if you’d like to arrange a meeting, please get in touch with the team via the Contact Us section below.

Last, but certainly by no means least, July saw Strategic Imperatives host its annual Summer Party!

It’s always enjoyable when we get a moment to regroup as a team and celebrate the hard work everyone has put in so far in 2024.

This year, we indulged in fantastic food and drink, enjoyed some great entertainment in the form of a live band and magician, and all had a go at some party games (some were more successful than others!)

We were also thrilled to have our overseas teams in attendance. It’s not often we get everyone in the same place, at the same time. When we do, it’s a reminder of how lucky we are to work with such talented professionals day-in, day-out.

In the news!

Sitting at the heart of the fibre community, we love seeing headlines highlighting the brilliant developments across our sector, whether it’s from companies we’ve worked with for decades, or others we admire.
