Linux Admin/DevOps Engineer
We have a superb opportunity for an outstanding DevOps Engineer to join our Service Delivery team. You will work with smart and fun people on exciting areas like high-availability services, fail over management, systems performance tuning, cloud infrastructure management and researching new technologies.

Maybe you are a veteran Linux admin with serious programming interests? Or you’re a programmer with a passion for low-level Linux problems? Knowledgeable, aware of thorough and obsessively efficient, you often cross the boundary between ‘development’ and ‘operations. With a deep disdain for anything inefficient, slow or that requires manual intervention, you’d rather write a script to automate a task than perform something more than once.
Some of the skills we would like you to have are listed below, however, we are a forward looking and passionate company that value people and understand that a list of skills does not make a person so please apply if you can demonstrate passion for some of these skills rather than practical experience.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
- Experience with automation/configuration management (Puppet or Chef)
- Experience with AWS
- Strong experience with SQL and MySQL
- A working understanding of code and script (Python, Perl and/or Ruby)
- Experience with Continuous Integration using Jenkins
- Networks and Security
- Java experience and understanding of the JVM
